The Home Depot Tape Measure is recommended for ages 3 years to 8 years. Tyler got this tape measure for Christmas when he was 3 years old.
I ordered this tape measure online, and was disappointed when it arrived and I noticed it had previously been opened and the package was taped back together. I exchanged it at the store with no problem though.
Tyler always takes our tape measure, and I’m afraid he is going to hurt himself since the edges are a little sharp and it snaps back into place. I thought this would be good to replace our real tape measure for him. It looks like the real thing. This tape measure can be used to measure up to 24 inches. Tyler hasn’t really grasped the fact that he needs to wind this tape measure back up by hand though.
Tyler plays with The Home Depot tape measure every once in a while, but it’s not a huge hit. He does grab it to help his dad when he is using one.
This tape measure is a nice inexpensive addition to a play toolbox.
