Let’s Go Fishing

The Let’s Go Fishing game is recommended for ages 3 years and up.  Tyler got this game for Christmas when he was 3 years old.

This battery operated game is for 1 – 4 players.  There is a disc with different colored fish on it that spins around. The fish periodically open their mouths so they can be “caught” by the tiny plastic fishing poles that come with the game.  It’s an easy game that provides fun family time.

Tyler loves playing this game!  He caught on how to play quickly.  His little sister (at 15 months) likes to play too, but she can’t really “catch” any fish with the little fishing pole yet.  She still has a great time trying, and she likes to place the fish back in their spots on the disc after they’ve been taken out.  It helps teach coordination.

The motor that runs the game is a little noisy, but it’s not annoying enough to cause us to stop playing the game.

A mini version of the game came with it too, so you can take it on the go.  We haven’t played that yet though.

I would recommend this game, especially for young children just starting to play games.

UPDATE: Tyler’s sister, Jordan, can “catch” the fish at 2 years old. It takes her a little longer, but she gets so excited when she gets one.
